About Us
It is our desire that River Walk Community Church is a place where no one stands alone and that every man, woman and child will connect and make friendships that last a lifetime. Whatever your situation is, know that there are people here wanting to help you.
Whether you are visiting, searching for a new church family, or exploring Christianity for the first time, you matter to us just as you matter to God. We welcome your questions and will do our best to assist you on your journey.
Mission Statement
Vision
A community set free to worship God, love people, and enjoy life.
Mission
Personally and in community, guided by the Holy Spirit, we build each other up as we extend God's grace to our neighbors and friends, inviting them to worship, fellowship, and grow with us in Christ.
Our Core Values
As people, who are by nature flawed, we are through Christ being restored:
-
We worship God, as revealed in the Bible, the creator, protector and provider of life and salvation.
-
We gladly tell others of his love for them. People matter to God and therefore matter to us.
-
We love all people. Jesus showed us what love is, and we are committed to love as he did.
-
We are continually learning. We want to know God and develop his attitudes, character and commitment in our lives.
-
We share the gifts God has given us. God has honored us with special gifts and talents, and we will use them to honor others.
