It is our desire that River Walk Community Church is a place where no one stands alone and that every man, woman and child will connect and make friendships that last a lifetime.  Whatever your situation is, know that there are people here wanting to help you.

Whether you are visiting, searching for a new church family, or exploring Christianity for the first time, you matter to us just as you matter to God.  We welcome your questions and will do our best to assist you on your journey.

Our Core Values

As people, who are by nature flawed, we are through Christ being restored:

• We worship God, as revealed in the Bible, the creator, protector and provider of life and salvation.
• We gladly tell others of his love for them.  People matter to God and therefore matter to us.
• We love all people.  Jesus showed us what love is, and we are committed to love as he did.
• We are continually learning.  We want to know God and develop his attitudes, character and commitment in our lives.
• We share the gifts God has given us. God has honored us with special gifts and talents, and we will use them to honor others.

Biblical Standard

The beliefs and doctrines of the Chrisitan Reformed Church are based on the Holy Bible, God's infallible written word contained in the 66 books of the Old and New Testament.  We believe that it was uniquely inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it is the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.

Doctrinal Standards

We subscribe to the following confessions: 

• The Heidelberg Catechism
• The Belgic Confession
• The Canons of Dort 

We subscribe to the following three creeds: 

• Apostles' Creed
• Nicene Creed
• Athanasian Creed.
